What's on our agenda at Sibos 2019?
At Sibos 2019, Murex will focus on bridging the present and the future. Throughout the conference, we will be addressing the current challenges facing capital markets participants, including new regulation and technology innovation. We will also be looking ahead, sharing how we are enhancing the MX.3 platform and the way we work to help our clients make the most of tomorrow’s opportunities.
If you are attending this year’s conference, don’t miss:

The power of a single platform
MX.3 is built to drive capital markets, underpinned by complete end-to-end business processes coupled with a state-of-the-art software platform. MX.3 enables IT transformation, acting as the strategic skeleton on which the business of the future will be built.
An open platform supporting market best practices, digitization and connectivity to the wider market, MX.3 allows financial institutions to concentrate on their core business.
Building the capital markets technology of the future
When embarking on an IT transformation journey, it is important to consider four key areas; refocusing business models, rethinking IT models, balancing standardization with flexibility, and leveraging innovation.
Exploring these elements in depth, Murex’s latest white paper includes insights from ABN AMRO, Amazon Web Services, ATB Financial and DBS, as well as our own technology transformation experts.
Future-proof your IT infrastructure
Flexibility, agility and elasticity. These three words are at the core of the Murex technology strategy. To ensure that our clients can grow their business in an evolving market while also reducing costs, Murex has injected the most promising technologies, including cloud, APIs and business intelligence, into the MX.3 platform.
An Award-Winning Cloud Solution
At Sibos 2018 in Sydney, our CEO Maroun Edde led a community session on the topic of transformation in the capital markets. He was joined by Alex Duke, Head of Technology for Institutional Banking Operations at ANZ and Laurence Thierry who heads up the APAC Financial Services Practice at AWS. Together they discussed the market dynamics driving institutions to transform, ANZ’s back-office replatforming project and the impact of the cloud.
The capital markets ecosystem will continue to rapidly evolve in the coming years and Murex is committed to helping clients navigate these changes. A core part of this is adapting the way we work, creating an internal organizational structure that allows us to deliver a continuous flow of value to our client base.
The below infographic outlines Murex’s agile journey so far, including both the Murex development teams and our client service organization.
