Didier Loiseau

Global Head of Rates, Bonds and Credit at Murex

Co-head LIBOR & Benchmark Reform

Didier joined Murex 16 years ago. He spent 7 years as an Interest Rates Derivatives (IRD) consultant, working with numerous European and international financial institutions, and developing his interest and expertise in this field.

He then joined the product development division and led the IRD practice until 2014. In this role, he oversaw the transformation of the rates solutions following the financial crisis, introducing new features for multi-curves, clearing, OIS discounting and negative rates management in the MX.3 platform. Didier has been in charge of the evolution of Murex’s rates and credit solutions, as well as curve and volatility analytics, since 2016.

In 2018, he was appointed co-head of the Murex IBOR discontinuation taskforce, responsible for the design and development of the Murex IBOR discontinuation solution. Didier is a computer science and financial mathematics engineering graduate from the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics (Ensimag) in Grenoble, France.

Marwan Khalil

Lead Technical Architect

Marwan Khalil is a capital markets software engineering executive, with a passion for technology.

He joined Murex 23 years ago and in this time, he has created the Architecture Consulting practice, which has grown into a team of more than 60 engineers worldwide. He also led the core technology team responsible for enhancing and upgrading the MX.3 platform technology. Marwan is now Murex’s lead technical architect, focusing on the end-to-end delivery of large-scale transformation programs. He leads the continuous delivery transformation of Murex client delivery services.

Marwan holds a master’s degree in information systems from the Université Paris 6 – Pierre et Marie Curie.

Jonathan Coyle
Head of Agile Factory Operations

Jonathan is responsible for Agile Factory Operations and Agile Strategy at Murex, covering its development centers in Dublin, Paris and Beirut.

Joining Murex in 2005, Jonathan started initially in consulting, before moving into Product Management roles within the Enterprise Risk Management domain. As well as developing many innovations around Risk Control, Jonathan deployed agile ways of working across the development teams within Murex Dublin, which led to his current position in Murex’s product development division.

Jonathan now spends his time between Murex’s offices in Dublin, Paris, and Beirut, working with the factory operations team of Agile Coaches, RTEs and Portfolio Management to continue the deployment of agility at scale across its value chain.

Jonathan has a degree in Electronic Engineering from University College Dublin, and a Master’s degree in Management Science from UCD Michael Smurfit Business School.

In his spare time, Jonathan surfs, coaches rugby, and runs after his two young daughters.


Sophia Peng
Head of Operations and Finance, Murex Americas

Sophia has been with the Operations and Finance Client Services team in New York since 2007, having taken over as head in 2012. In this role, Sophia is responsible for regional technical sales, implementations and support provided by a team of 35 across our New York, Toronto and Santiago offices. She specializes in advising clients on managing operational risk and adapting to changing regulatory requirements. Recently, Sophia has also been working on deploying Agile and DevOps practices into Murex’s Client Services offerings.

Her life before Murex includes stints at a number of big name and boutique consulting firms focused on enterprise platform implementations as well as custom IT development projects.

Sophia holds a BBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.

Imane Cherradi
Head of Trading and Enterprise Risk Management, Murex Americas

Imane heads the trading and enterprise risk management practices in the Americas with a team of around 80 business analysts. She is in charge of developing business, implementing and supporting the Murex trading solution for buy- and sell-side institutions. She also drives the functional evolution of the cross-asset trading platform for the Americas, her recent work has focused on Libor transition.

Imane has 17 years of experience in capital markets. Previously, she held multiple positions in Murex including CEO of Murex’s Andean office, Head of Market Risk in the client service division, and developed the central clearing practice as the Dodd Frank SME in New York in 2009.

Imane has a master’s degree in applied mathematics and computer science from École Nationale Supérieure d’Informatique et de Mathématiques Appliquées, France.

Alexandre Bon
Group co-head LIBOR & Benchmark Reform
Head of Marketing & Strategy, Asia Pacific

Based in Singapore, Alexandre Bon, looks after the definition, positioning and go-to-market strategy of Murex product solutions with a focus on Risk Management and Regulatory Transformation. His most recent work centers on the implementation of the bilateral Initial Margin and Basel III capital reforms, and on XVA desks operating models.

Alexandre also launched and co-heads the group’s Interest Rates Benchmark Reform program.

Since joining Murex in 2000, Alexandre has held both senior client-facing and product management positions, last serving as global head of the Risk Control practice and general manager for Murex Ireland, where he drove the development of the MX.III XVA management solution and Credit Risk simulation engine.

Alexandre is a regular speaker at industry events and frequently runs training and webinars on risk management and regulatory topics such as the LIBOR transition.

Alexandre holds a « Grande École » MSc in Management and Finance from HEC Paris.

LIBOR: Endgame @ Sibos 2019
